Siesta Key Named #2 Beach in US, but before you buy here…
According to Dr. Beach, Siesta Key is #2 in his 2016 Top Beaches in the USA list. The #1 & #3 beaches are in Hawaii. Unless you want to move to the Aloha state (as in hello inflated prices and isolation, goodbye family & friends), Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida is the place to buy real estate. However, there are some important things to know before buying waterfront property in Sarasota & on Siesta Key.
Siesta Key is located in Sarasota, Florida. It has some of the nicest sand (99%+ Quartz) in the world. It doesn’t even get hot when it’s 100 degrees outside! As the #2 Beach in the USA on Dr. Beach’s list, Siesta Key continues to be a popular spot for real estate. Everyone loves visiting Florida. Imagine living here on the water and walking to the beach every day!
Update (6/30/16) – Business Insider has named Siesta Key the #1 Beach in the USA!
Not only is Siesta Key a world class beach, but within a half hour you can be at beautiful Lido Key & Longboat Key Beaches to the north. If you head south, you can be to shark tooth & shell filled Nokomis Beach & Venice Beach & Pier in about a half hour, too. With miles and miles of beautiful shoreline of the warm Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota is truly a paradise on Earth.
